Following comments on social media it's disturbing to see how many voters don't understand what the Mayor is responsible for and what the boroughs are responsible for. LTNs being a prime example.

I realised long ago that there is a disturbingly large minority of people who will go out of their way to be inconvenienced or offended so that they can get "15 minutes of fame" from their complaints.

Unless there has been some serious rebuilding since I was last at Euston there are entrances to Euston Square on both sides of Euston Road. You do need to cross one side road but the station will already be visible at that point.

I used to volunteer at an arts centre and there was a steady trickle of silly complaints. Best was the guy who picked up a hirer's leaflet and called the police to complain about every gig listed. When they phoned about the one that had been cancelled the attending officers had "words".

Even more so if you need another travel mode to reach the station. A cab to the station costs me the same as driving 48 miles. More if I can stop at a cheap supermarket.
