Wiring looking complete on the southbound side as far as Crossmyloof station this morning whilst the northbound wiring stopping just short of the Titwood Road bridge. A couple of pictures from this morning:
Wasn't there issues with signal sighting between Crosshill and Mount Florida in the 385s? They only lasted a few weeks on Newton/Neilston/Circle services when they arrived before being taken off.
Went by Strathbungo this morning and not a lot of activity going on. Noticed that the tree felling has left about a 50 meter gap just south of the pedestrian footbridge where everything has been cut back; couldn't see much evidence of pruning anywhere else in the area.
Glasgow Central: There was a piece on the "Inside Central Station" programme last week which the station tour guide was talking about the cab road that used to be on the western side of the station.
Was over in Strathbungo this morning for the first time in a couple of weeks and masts have now been installed for about three quarters of the length between the Minard Road and Nithsdale Road bridges, and foundations looked to be in place for most (if not all) other masts. A couple of the masts...
I went by on Sunday and was all quiet as the line was open. Looked like some work had been completed during the week as masts were installed for about half the distance between Titwood Road bridge and the Strathbungo footbridge:
