Your welcome most of the people who I've got to know use the split tickets and have never been challenged. The route is covered if you really wanted to go the incredibly long way around! Wish I'd known about it years ago but better late than never!

That's what I was looking at too... although to Leatherhead (same price as Ashtead). Guessing East Croydon is on the route from Clapham to London Bridge, if someone wanted to go that way, so the tickets overlap okay and I'm covered while snoozing my way to London Bridge on the 0624 out of Eastbourne.

Hi there, I currently use a season ticket to Ashtead not via london and then a season ticket from Clapham junction to london terminals. That covers me to stay on the train from eastbourne to london bridge.

Does that help at all?
