For drivers there is no current rest day agreement, it was 10 hours at time and three quarters which worked out at about £550 for the shift regardless how long it was (max 10 hours). Sunday is part of the working week for drivers so it's normal pay as are bank holidays.

Difficult to enforce though, someone joined our TOC a few years ago without working their notice and nothing happened and I know of a few who have left too. Obviously there would probably be issues if you ever wanted to go back and work for the company again.
I did for TPE from London and told them I was re-locating and I got the job, so would advise yes despite what others are telling you.

As others have mentioned you will receive full drivers salary of £58k after 8 weeks of training, this has been the case for about 2 years now.
