What if I barge through gates while holding a valid ticket?

Usually if the gate doesn't open I'll seek a member of staff, but if there's nobody around I would probably get myself through one way or another. I've paid for my ticket and therefore the right to travel, if my money has been taken and I hold a valid ticket, restricting my entry sounds unfair...

    British Railways Operators Map

When does Southeastern go to Ore? As far as I'm aware there are no timetabled services past Hastings for as long as I can remember. There's a video on YouTube about 15 years old that's the most recent I can find. Otherwise a very good map. Similar to a foldable map of the south east rail...

    Unannounced Class 395s at Stratford

Try searching by Stratford intl E Jn Or W junction Stratford international is not a mandatory timing point so is often missed from non stop services in NR schedules. RTT usually adds these in as an inferred passing point but obviously doesn't for Stratford international. Therefore using the...

93010 and 93003. Headcode marked as a network rail vehicle.

Came down as a 6Q which isnt a measurement vehicle, a 3Q is a test train or 1Q for measuring train. The Q does mean test trains but other special movements as well.

What are the widest and narrowest station platforms?

Lewes between platform 2 and platform 3. Originally there was a single track in between many years ago, this has been filled up and leaves a generous gap and cafe between the two platform s

4 more intercity 125 blue coaches for my 1970s power cars. Anyone know what a typical 125 blue yellow rake would be? I've got 4 first class coaches , 2 standards and a restaurant. Guessing 7 needed so 3 of each?

    Okehampton Interchange

Once again the Okehampton line is shut. Wondering now whether a new station is actually worth the whole, or should money be spent on better reinforcing the lineside on the route as it is. Remember in winter there were major disruptions with trees and snow on the Okehampton line in particular...
