Uber ticketing. Booked journey many times but now 'No routes found'.

Just tried to book my usual train journey which I've been doing via the Uber app for many weeks to get the 10% cashback but it's now showing as no routes found.
Ascot to London Liverpool Street. Depart 0700. Return 1600. Weekday with Network railcard. £31.
The app will give the journey from stations either side of Ascot (Martins Heron & Sunningdale).
I phoned the helpdesk (powered by OMIO) and they told me yes the were no routes as they checked the OMIO site for comparison. They were not interested in me having this route in my journey history or it was available through the National Rail app as proof.
I've also tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app (on Android).
Anyone else had a similar experience?

Yes, same problem here. It will offer a journey from Martins Heron but not Ascot.

Happens to me every now and again - some sort of bug that comes and goes for no apparent reason. I use Uber for the 10% rewards but if this happens enroute to the station I just use another app and lose the reward. Personally I think that Uber’s app has a terrible interface for rail, but they have given me around £400 back over the last 12 months so I can forgive them….

Yup. Lots of stuff ex-Leeds is also broken at the moment. Gave in and used the LNER app, which did at least use some of the LNER credit I've been 'double dipping' on.

It's Uber's supplier, rather than Uber themselves.

Same on Railsmartr, which uses the same system:

It may be worth mentioning this to Uber?

I will alert a member of this forum who works for their provider. (Edit: I had a reply back saying they are looking into it)

In the meantime, you could consider using the forum's site? We can't compete with the loss-making cashback offers, but we don't charge a booking fee, so the cost would be the same as booking on a TOC site (or, sometimes, cheaper; if we find a cheaper combination of tickets then you would keep 85% of any savings) but the site does work. (If it ever doesn't, again let me know, and I will alert people who can investigate!) The forum does benefit from people using it, and helps us to keep the adverts on the forum non-intrusive/evasive, and also pays for us to run events such as free fares workshops.

Thanks Yorkie. I've tried complaining directly to Uber but they're pushing me back to OMIO who weren't interested i.e. that's correct, tickets are not available for that route.
In the meantime, I bought a ticket from Martin's Heron which still works out cheaper with the 10% cashback.
However, in a weird twist I bought the Martins Heron ticket again for another journey but paid less than when I booked 2 days ago. They seem to be misapplying the railcard discount now?!?
When the 10% discount ends (end Feb?) I will return to using the forum's site.

Can you provide screenshots of what you paid last time vs this time please?

They are correct that it's Omio's (supplier's) fault, but they really should care about it!

Actually, looks like my mistake with the Martins Heron ticket due to a fat finger selecting gold card instead of network card.
I just checked and the Ascot ticket is now available again.
