I wonder who now holds that patent?... and if they paid anything for it!
They only held it because the thing was designed by someone who worked for BR at the time; the employment contracts meant that any sidelines like that would become the employer's property - hence the patent became registered in BR's name.

Twin tracks across the top of Glenfinnan viaduct? Who'd have thought that the Mallaig line was so busy that this would ever be needed?

:D That's laughably crap! What's with the 4th coach being about three time longer than the first 3, different coach styles, semi-twin track viaduct, parked continental style coaches. What a mess!

I like the mutant Black 5 tank loco, complete with 2 chimneys and a second cab in the middle of the bunker.
Then there's the fact the moving train is far larger than the stationary one, looks like a 00 gauge train passing an N gauge one. :D

BTW, how much AI is there in that clip? Has the moving train sequence perhaps been created using genuine footage, and all that's been done is that part of the background Glenfinnan scenery has been obscured (using the mocked up rake of stationary train carriages as some static backdrop)?

Who knows. It's utter rubbish anyway. I also noticed that the locomotive has a (apparently perfectly rectangular) shadow but the carriages don't.
