Mk 3 sleeper coaches parked up in Earnock Sidings near Hamilton West

Hi all, whilst travelling to Motherwell today, I noticed through the trees between Blantyre and Hamilton West a load of what I think are mk3 sleeper coaches. Can anyone shed any light as to why they are stored here and which ones they are?

That is the site of EG Steele, which is shared with Assenta Rail.

I think the coaches are most likely those from the former Irish Grand Hibernian operation described here - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belmond_Grand_Hibernian

A visit was paid to Hamilton West to view the former Belmond Grand Hibernian train which was converted from former IE MK3 carriages and toured Ireland for a number of years prior to the COVID19 pandemic which killed off the operation. The coaches are stored in the Assenta depot which mantains...

The last heard of those coaches was that they were going to be regauged for further operation.

They're too good for scrap. Hope somebody buys them and redoes them for mainline use.
