I'm planning to do some travelling in rural Germany and Denmark in May.
Because there's two of us travelling together I've looked at the Quer-durchs-Land-Ticket for the German leg which allows travel on regional trains throughout Germany (but not IC or ICE) for €46 a day. This seems much cheaper than an inter-rail ticket if we travel for 7 days.
Has anyone used these yet? Would single regional tickets be cheaper? Can they be used on the Harz system?
Any advice gratefully received!
