West Yorkshire Rail Challenge

Many years ago, I ran a West Yorkshire Rail Challenge with my scout group. We split into teams of 4 and, armed with day rover tickets, set out to visit as many stations in the WY Metro area as we could in a day. Points were awarded for stations visited and depended on the difficulty of visiting. I'm planning to do the same kind of event again. I seem to remember copying some rules / points system for this challenge from on here. But searching is yielding nothing. Does anyone else have any knowledge of a challenge like this?

I'm pretty sure the forum ran something like your challenge back in August 2014 (maybe again since). 1 point per station called at with bonus points for certain other awkward ones (Denby Dale, Pontefract Baghill)

I thought I'd seen it too. Now I can't find it at all.

Going back about a dozen years someone worked out all lines was possible with the aid of a mountain bike over Ilkley Moor! Being more practical we decided a bank holiday when there wasn't engineering work was the best bet, fewer passengers to disrupt things. New Years Day was always very quiet when it landed mid-week, people assumed it would be a Sunday service.
