Hey all,

Does anyone have any information on the Drivers Fault Finding Test for the Trainee Train Drivers Assessment?

Thank you in advance

Use the search bar at the top. All the tests are covered in great detail on this forum.

If you have the practice papers I'd say it's very similar. It's all about faults and priority if I can remember correctly. Think there's 20 questions but most people do an average of 6-8 and have passed.

I passed the DFFT by answering 6/20, it’s all about the accuracy of your answers.

The practice material they provide is very helpful and gives an understanding of the basics. The real test they will provide a similar scenario, but will have more information to inspect and going back and forth to different documents to find the correct fault.

Also with the DFFT in the real test you get 20 questions to answer in 10 minutes. It’s impossible to answer all 20 without making errors. Making sure your answers are correct is priority.
