It has an inner and outter link, new starters will be in the inner link so you will mainly be doing Moorgate to Stevenage via Hertford and Moorgate to Welwyn work in 717. Quite intensive work with lots of stops but some really enjoy that.Hi all. Hope everyone is well!
Probs been asked before, did search but nothing found..
Anyone know what its like to work for GTR at hornsey depot? Pros and cons?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
What are the terms and conditions like at GTR?If it's your first driving job, then it doesn't matter what depot you get, but as others have said, I'd avoid it if I was a qualified, unless coming from a TOC with worse Ts and Cs than GTR.
You say about workload, but any London TOC workload will be high considering the type of service each TOC provides into the city. The way the industry is going as a whole workload is up across the board. Would be very seldom you find a lot less work from one TOC to another. Yes there will be differences but all very similar I would say.
Hornsy might suit some that live local or on the line. Travel time/T&Cs is what I would be looking at.
Could you PM please mate.Maybe cause I'm used to it but I don't think the workload is that bad. I think it's just what you're used to. There's some rubbish diagrams and there's good diagrams, just like any other depot

If you want intense metro work , London Overground are now the highest paid company after Eurostar.
