    An Imaginary Glasgow Metro Map

Knocked this up in a few hours using Affinity Designer. The weird isometric perspective was inspired by the old Stuttgart S-Bahn map.

Berlin S-Bahn's new Class 483 and 484 have entered service

Video of the trains in service on the S47 They're kind of ugly looking - the locals have referred to the drivers cab as "a giant iPad" and it's easy to see why. There are some interesting points to these trains, though: They're the first Berlin S-Bahn trains with air conditioning. Unlike...

    ScotRail class 156 refurbishment

This looks interesting - there's a photo of the new seats and carpet in the article. They'll still be the same 156s under the hood though, with the incredibly loud motors that shake the entire carriage. https://www.transport.gov.scot/news/latest-scotrail-fleet-upgrades-on-track-for-delivery/

    Worst Interior / Colour Scheme

We've all seen trains with really nice interiors, and trains with horrible interiors. What's the worst train interior you've ever seen? My vote goes to this horrific combination of pink, purple, yellow, grey and mint green. Just... why? SPT's "green, red and orange" isn't a valid...

"Vintage" railway map uncovered during Glasgow Queen Street renovations

Glasgow Queen Street is being renovated just now. In the low level, they're taking away all the old yellow wall panels (and all the seats ) This was underneath the yellow wall panels in the middle of the station. I thought it was interesting to see, since it's from a long-gone rail era...
