    Deltic Bashers Group Shoot

Indeed, Welly and Squeak were huge class 40 'bashers'. Welly is no longer with us, unsure about Squeak. I've got a photo of them.

    Cafe on Platform 6 Crewe

Not changed at Crewe for a few years, is (or was) the café on P6 a Pumpkin? I do remember last time I went they served beer.

Trivia: Rarest BR locos to survive into preservation

I was going to say classes 15,17 and 28. Saw the 28 dumped at Swindon works in the 80s, the owners had to pay 'rent' to BR and it wasn't cheap too. Well, it's bodyshell. Saw it decades ago but I cannot remember where.

    Generational Smoking Bans

I wonder what the mark-up is for retailers

    Generational Smoking Bans

The thing is it is not a smoking ban, it's a vote on those born from 2009 buying cigarettes. It will just drive it underground, which it already is in parts.

Euston overcrowding at TfL/LU entrance caused by new Network Rail departure boards

About 12 mins for Avanti in my experience (when the wind is blowing in the right direction and the stars are aligned in a certain position). 1H01 22:03 to Picc was called at 18 mins before this evening.

    Locomotive Services Fleet (LSL) updates

Does look smart, I see they have reverted to the split domino headcode panel, could be wrong.

Well I never, a bit late to try it now.

    Pacers on Long Distance Routes

Yes, great seats. , I'm sure they put those seats 'out of service' or whatever.. basically you couldn't pull the bench down, even though it was tempting you to do so. Might have been a rogue unit I've stumbled across. I did Manchester to Preston when they first came out before modifications...

Euston overcrowding at TfL/LU entrance caused by new Network Rail departure boards

Only saying what I was told. The underground station gets shut more often than the mainline station due to overcrowding. Like both they usually become exit only.

Door open on moving DLR train

I'd be finding the PSA or using the pass comm ASAP, sometimes people are sometimes oblivious to the real danger as they want to get to A-B and ignore it. Same with DLR surfers - blind eye time.

Euston overcrowding at TfL/LU entrance caused by new Network Rail departure boards

It was for the night tube. The old arrangement was a small door opposite Sainsbury's, not ideal. I suppose they had contingency plans in case of a fire or whatever, but with the new arrangement they can manage tube passenger flows a lot better.

How did railtours work in BR days?

Thank you. That third picture look interesting from 1975, wonder what was going on with the headcode panel on the Deltic? Talking of the 3rd picture, MYSTEX's still run I think (well not BR), I know somebody who went on one a few years back, I looked it up on RTT and gave them a no-lose bet of...

    Electric Shower tripping RCD

Same thing happened to me, you didnt need to press the start button. I needed a new shower anyway so I wasnt that bothered when I found out there was no fault with the shower. The burn marks were on the business side of the MCB on mine, looked liked arcing to me by the pattern.

Seen them in action too, thought it was the actual cable they wanted to put down at first but obviously it wasnt.

    Broadband weather problems

They are. I've watched what was going on once - they must have thought I was sad! They use draw cords to get new cables through the main duct.

    Electric Shower tripping RCD

Well, the same thing happened to me and I bought a new shower. The thing tripped again. The electrician checked the consumer unit and found out the MCB (circuit breaker) for the shower was shot, so it might be worth getting that checked out before shelling out on a new shower. Edit: It actually...
