Throughput at gatelines with phone tickets compared to smart cards

The trainline app "Loading your bookings" takes way too long to load now. I joked about it with a LM train manager recently, he joked in reply that he now spends half his shift waiting for the trainline app to show tickets!

    Euston new weatherspoons

When it was announced last year I had a look at the site on streetview and was surprised that Wetherspoon would be interested in a somewhere "so small" as 'spoons go. But yes a welcome addition to the area. £8.85 for a beer and a burger with chips in that neck of the woods when you can only...

    Formula 1

Sounded like a good race on R5L hoping to catch the full reply on sky shortly at the new F1 Arcade in Birmingham if there's any chance of getting in on the first weekend fully open. I was fortunate to chance on a sneak preview last week when they were letting people in during the last few days...

Objection to appearing in a street photograph

Concerns around face recognition technology may be a factor here. The capabilities are insane, you can be picked out in a crowd photo of 100s or even 1000s. That despite those worried quite likely carrying around a phone with high resolution location services enabled!
