    UK General Election 2024

It was there rumours about farrage they were talking g about on some news outlets that they recon spooked the tories into calling this election now. Plus if these tory rebels try to cancel this general election it be suicide for them as no doubt reform and other parties will tear them.down

    2023 Israel - Hamas war

The UK government not happy but unless they can argue these politicians have immunity then they'll have to arrest them. The situation here would never have happened if the west had grown a pair and put their foot down with Israel. I don't think hammas themselves expected their attack and...

    Future of the GWR electrification

GWR want Filton wired as well as temple needs to Chippenham wired so a battery emu also fitted with 3rd rail shoes could be used on the Cardiff to Portsmouth her service. Pity GWR couldn't keep the 769/9's they'd be handy on some routes when we see the wires at Bristol TM

29 new trains for Transpennine Express ?

Hitachi don't seem Interested. LUMO and Grand Union have both tried ordering new or additional units/ carriages and Hitach quoting stupid high prices. I heard Grabd Union wanted to order additional 805s on the back of Avanti's order

    GWR fleet procurement

Pity they haven't considered fitting 2rd rail shows and batteries to the 387s and chucked them on the north down line

What's going to happen to the Class 222's after the Class 810's replace them?

Grabd Union probably going to try and grab the remaining 8 class 221's while orher open access operators and scotrail etc will go for the 222s. Can see Hull trains ordering new units in the future frees up their class 802s to go to LUMO as they need extra capacity
