    Scotrail rained off 25 Sept

    Scotrail West Highland services North and West of Crianlarich don't appear to be running today. The rain or threat of rain didn't stop the Alcan tanks or the Sleeper, which arrived early. Real-time trains doesn't show the Fort William services as cancelled. They're not shown at all

    Waverley paddle fault 23/09/22

    I believe that Waverley paddle steamer has been taken out of service on the Thames for a day or two because of a fault with a paddle found on routine examination. Would anyone on this site know anymore details? Probably better to find faults on examination rather than learn about them somewhere...

    Noisy Class 334 emu

    I'm interested to know why an emu should sound like a 1960's dmu. On a 334 this evening every time the power was put on there was noise and vibration like an old dmu engine - up to about 15-20 mph.
