GWR refusing to refund on board 1st class upgrade

However, someone might be happy to pay £25 to Reading, but not £15 just to Taunton, especially if their aim is to avoid a busy carriage as the train fills up.

    EMR refusing Scottish money

It doesn't help that Northern Bank now trades as Danske Bank and plasters that all over their notes - I'm sure they must get refused as people think they're Danish (which, in a way, they are).

    Flixbus Discussion

If they don't have any local registered routes or depots, I don't think they need one. I can't find one for Megabus either, but can easily for National Express (distinct from their bus services).

    EMR refusing Scottish money

I think the idea was that they could obtain English currency fairly easily. I tend to find when I have Scottish noted a lot of self-service tills accept them with no problems - I've used Sainsburys and Poundland before now (though my local Poundland has removed them). I don't know if any rail...

Though I did once buy a season ticket at Kings Cross with around 170 £20 notes.

Bee Network Service Improvements (Existing services)

Whilst many don't regularly check bus websites, at least some will see notices on buses and at bus stations with details of changes, even if it's just a lost of routes changing. Some companies have these, many don't.

    Sheffield - Meadowhall Fares

I'm not sure why it's obvious it wouldn't work. The equivalent West Yorkshire ticket, available on the "MCard" app displays two different codes with a button to switch between them. One is scannable by buses, the other on trains.

    Transdev Blazefield

Except Halifax - Rochdale, Halifax - Huddersfield. I am surprised that Keighley's 67 is missing, too, when in the East some fairly minor services are included (21, 24). I understand they don't have the shorter services from any part of Transdev.

    Transdev Blazefield

What? It's possible to put a line on with a place or two in the middle, like they do with the 7 between Harrogate and Leeds (which isn't the fastest route between Leeds and Wetherby, either). It's an overview map - I'm not sure it's making any suggestions, other than that these are routes they...

They run 3 routes that link Huddersfield and Halifax.

Presumably because the relative is going to stop travelling with them.

    Bus Service Improvement Plan Progress

The Explorer doesn't have any conditions restricting which counties it's available in. I've used it for journeys entirely within Buckinghamshire many times.

    Bus Service Improvement Plan Progress

So you could go from Bedford to Stevenage on the 9B, but you'd have to get off and on again in Central Bedfordshire (at, say, Shefford)?

Arriva Leicester electric buses still not in service.

If it's one of the more profitable routes, that's worrying. With the frequency having been cut by half, ending an hour earlier Mon-Sat and more than 3 hours earlier on a Sunday. Hopefully I'll get the chance to try them out on Saturday as I'm expecting to do 3 trips on the 31/31A.

    Arriva (Beds, Bucks, Herts)

That's just after they talked about Stagecoach's 9/A/B/C/D which now extends from Hitchin to Stevenage, generally a couple of times an hour.

    Arriva (Beds, Bucks, Herts)

You can buy a single ticket on the bus or online here for £2. Or a return for £17. I don't recommend the second option. https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/buy-tickets/region/herts-and-essex/zone/asc056
