Hook station had a sea of emergency services vehicles there at lunchtime and both the station footbridge and the road bridge were closed to pedestrians - a sad outcome it would seen.
I'm planning to travel from Madrid to Seville next week, I've applied for my FIP coupon for travel on RENFE but am unsure of next steps.
I know reservations are mandatory for long distance trains in Spain so does anyone know if it's just as simple as popping into the ticket office in Madrid a...

If I demanded a pay rise or one off payment everytime my role introduced new technology I’d be laughed out the door.
National Rail website saying everything from Waterloo is cancelled but Real time trains saying most trains are running.
Does anyone know which is (more) accurate?
So the one I'm particularly interested in is Camberley. At present it looks like there's only one direct train to Waterloo at 06:43, anything after that requires a change at Ash Vale with a 20 minute wait which doesn't sound appealing in those winter months!
I'm looking to buy a house and one of my criteria is a decent train service into Waterloo. SWR's website at present understandably only appears to provide amended timetables for the service they're currently operating.

Hello,
Apologies if this is an obvious question but I was wondering if someone is able to confirm whether a London Terminals - Aberdeen Super Offpeak Return is valid on the following outward journey:
Friday October 10
Dep: London Euston 16:30
Arr: Glasgow Central 20:38
Dep: Glasgow Q...
Haha very good ;)
It would be really convenient if I could travel to Streatham Common but I don't want to risk coming across a revenue inspector and end up paying a fine!
Thanks, I'd loved to be proven wrong about PRIV being the cheapest option! :)
Here's my plan:
Monday Feb 17th
13.30 EUS-GLC
Tuesday Feb 18th
09:00 GLC-IRV
15:40 IRV-GLC
16:40 GLC-EUS
Hi,
Hoping someone could confirm with me the following.
If I have a SOR/FOR from Euston to Irving, can I break my journey at Glasgow Central overnight and carry on up to Irving the following day?
Do I need to depart Glasgow before midday?
Thanks in advance.
