I haven't noticed London Underground's railway where it runs in the open being as overgrown with vegetation as the main railway network.

Ben Elias has come to the rescue! His latest video - Derby to Preston - shows the route from Derby as far south as Wichnor Junction where he diverts along the Lichfield Single to join the WCML. It's a good video and an essential addition to our libraries.

Ben Elias has uploaded a new and very welcome driver's eye view video from Derby to Preston . . . . . . . which plugs a few gaps in coverage of the railway network. Derby to Stenson Junction, the Lichfield Single and Newton-le-Willows to Golborne Junction are all included.

I've never noticed taps hanging off the wall and I don't believe I could have overlooked them if they were. I've also never found several cubicles out of use or that the doors didn't fit. I've never had a problem drying my hands there. You must be extraordinarily unlucky if you encounter all...

YouTube has a new Driver's eye view channel which has at present hardly any subscribers and very few viewers. One very interesting video . . . . . . is from Crewe to the Midland Railway Centre at Butterley. There are several others.

Have you had any luck in making progress? The only videos of this route at present are decades old and have atrocious picture quality, so I'm very much looking forward to your video.

I don't think South Ruislip has public lavatories either whereas West Ruislip does.
