    GWR Class 165/166 Turbo Diagrams

    Exmouth - Paignton is 6x single 150s and 1x 3-car 165 today. I think that's the worst it's been for a long time.

"Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Penzance and Plymouth fewer trains are able to run." 10/6/23

Ah yes, thanks. Just coincidence that the IEPs were having trouble and the tunnel works at the same time.

"Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Penzance and Plymouth fewer trains are able to run." 10/6/23

Ah, OK. That's interesting (though not good) to hear. But today all of the Penzance-Cardiff services (so far) are showing cancelled on RTT. Is there some other reason for these, or were they actually planned to be the IETs you've mentioned?

"Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Penzance and Plymouth fewer trains are able to run." 10/6/23

This message is on the GWR web site today. "Due to more trains than usual needing repairs at the same time between Penzance and Plymouth fewer trains are able to run." This appears to be the Penzance - Cardiff HSTs, showing in RTT as cancelled. So if there isn't anything to cover the diagrams...

"Due to damage to the electric third rail between Newton Abbot and Paignton all lines are blocked"

Indeed so, but still quite funny. Actually, earlier this afternoon it was correct, so somebody has entered a code to make it incorrect. :D

Many thanks Tom, a really quick response from you and the team. I've looked this morning and data for Exmouth-Paignton seems 100%.

    RealTimeTrains website

On the Exmouth-Paigntons, not only are services missing, but some services that were there have disappearred next time I look. For example, RTT now says only one service at Exmouth on 26/4, and none at all on 27/4. But at least some of them were there when I looked yesterday, and @SJ21...

Thanks @SJ21, I thought that was probably the answer.

Exmouth-Paignton morning of Wednesday 26th April - RTT problem?

I'm just looking at RTT for the Exmouth-Paigntons for Wednesday 26th. There don't seem to be any services until mid-morning. Was there something going on, or is it RTT having a 'funny five minutes'? Thanks

GWR "Spare" 387s to free up diesel units?

In the latest issue of Rail there's an article about handing back 769s. At the end of the article it says "GWR will also have additional Class 387 Electrostar commuter trains spare. They were previously used on the semi-fast Reading to London services that were taken over by TfL Rail's...

XC HST Laira to Doncaster Works Wabtec Tuesday 10th

Anybody know what this was about? Unless I miscounted it went up with 8 coaches. https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:K03347/2023-01-10/detailed Two power cars came the other way on Wednesday, so I'm assuming it was the same ones, but without the coaches...
