    The 2024 London Mayoral Election

lt’s all so uninspiring for transport isn’t it? A series of relatively cheap wins to improve transport in outer London rather than another network of slow buses would be to build new platforms at locations where existing rail lines cross, but where there is no interchange.

    watering plants with lemon water

Just water them with water from your water butt as opposed to tap water. You can also buy soil testing kits or devices to check the acidity levels of your soil to determine if it’s appropriate for acid loving plants.

I scanned a carton of the 1 litre ambient orange juice in Sainsbury’s the other day and was shocked when it came up at £1.50, this was also marked on the shelf edge as Aldi Price Match. When I did go into Aldi their juice was actually £1.59! What’s strange about that is that the chilled orange...

I completely agree, watching Dewbs & Co right now you've got Corbynite Aaron Bastani getting cheers from the audience and self-titled Popular Conservative Mark Littlewood getting a frosty reception.

    Wilko's goes into Administration

Yes, they will be reopened as Wilko shops just like the other three have already. The products will be different though as The Range have brought across many of their own existing products and suppliers, with some of Wilko’s old products not being stocked also.

Rishi Sunak and the Conservative Party.

Olivia Utley on GB News said a few minutes ago that it was a speech about the "toxification of politics," but also quite rightly points out that Sunak has been in charge for over a year now and hasn't done anything about it!

BT and EE annual increase of RPI +3.9%

My ISP (Shell Energy) is making out how great they are for only increasing their rates by 6% this year. Apparently the Ts&Cs allow them to increase by CPI+3% so I should be grateful to them that its only 2% above CPI. Still feel it's very cheeky that they can increase the price within a fixed...

Protests at the ticket barriers at Bradford Interchange.

Even if they were they would probably have let criminal activities take place without arrests. As police in Britain don't use tools like tear gas or water cannon which are commonplace in Europe and the US, they typically don't have the ability to make arrests unless there is imminent danger...

They’ve had these at the Sainsbury’s by my work in central London for over a year now. It doesn’t even let you select the wrong item; you just put the item in the bowl and the only option avaliable for you is the item that’s in the bowl. It’s never got it wrong for me yet. I ought to add this...
