Right, going to Hull but due to the land-slip will arrive an hour later into Hull, so could this be claimed on Delay Repay despite Hull Trains site saying:

"We will not accept claims for a refund if we have previously published an amended or emergency timetable or given details of an alternative route due to engineering work"

However, this "revised" timetable is only shown on National Rail and not the Hull Trains website.

On the way back I would be entitled to a full refund as the train is completely cancelled if I am correct?

Going to Hull from where?

National Rail Enquiries indicate that it is Northern Rail services between Doncaster and Hull which are being diverted via Selby, and will not call at Goole. Hull Trains services usually run via Selby, so I'm struggling to understand your delay of an hour.

HT were booked via Goole this weekend but now will be diverted via Snaith and Knottingley, adding around an hour to the journey. Timetables on HT website.

Did you buy the ticket before or after knowing about the disruption?

It was booked 3 weeks ago

You will be able to use your ticket to travel on any train either this weekend or Monday, or otherwise can have a full refund, or amend it under normal rules. Source: http://www.hulltrains.co.uk/land-slip-incident/

I assume that (if you are returning to London) a refund isn't in your best interests...

It would generally of been better for me to return from Hull today yes, don't want to be stuck there for more than necessary.

The train manager had no idea if it classed for delay repay so that was a great help.
