The above was cancelled at Doncaster, where it was not due to call, due to a problem with the train. Does anyone have any more details?

No idea on the reason but Hitachi have a depot at Doncaster which is probably why it was terminated there rather than York.

Electrical faults through out the train with multiple coaches having no air con working.
Conditions on the train were not pleasant.

Thanks. They dropped the pan at York and started the diesel engines, it stood for 20 mins and then they turned off the diesels and raised the pan again.
It then departed. In the meantime the following semi-fast service came into York and departed before it, but i never noticed anyone swap onto it.

They believed they could reciting fault by operating the diesel engines vice electric, however that did not rectify the fault.
