6880 Betton grange 1st maiden runs

I do believe that reading on national preservation new build news thread that 6880 Betton grange built by the Betton grange society originally based at Llangollen r,way now at Tyseley loco w,ks are planning on having 6880 Betton grange to star in the battlefield railways winter warm up gala 3-4 February 2024, And also to test run it there besides in Tyseley at the loco w,ks yard as well.
I do believe though it's running with a tender off one of the G.W.R. 38xx locos and judging by how new build loco A1 60163 tornado back in 2009 was viewed filmed and rode behind and 2999 Lady of Legend at Didcot and the severn valley r,way (although not mainline registered) pulled alot of enthusiasts in at S.V.R. 2021 and Didcot in 2019.
I would reckon this event as well would be quite big at battlefield line market Bosworth.

I read that the appearance of the Grange was imminent and it would be good to see one again. No doubt it will do the rounds, i.e. Severn Valley, West Somerset etc. in due course.

Brilliant news. I admire the courage of those who fund and carry out newbuild steam loco projects against a background of coal being so expensive and difficult to source. Good luck.
