Saw this pair go through St Pancras low-level platforms with an engineering train at about 01.10.
Must be very rare for locos to run through there? Definitely the first ones I've seen.

There has been quite a bit of engineering work on that line recently. I saw four 73s in the Farringdon / Barbican area two weeks ago and have been aware of quite a few other occasions of engineers trains working down there and accessing the area via the MML.

only class 31's and 73's are allowed down the tunnels between dock junction and moorgate, i dont believe that any locos can use the section between blackfriars and farringdon due to the gradients, but ill check me sectional appendix?
