Hi all first post here,

I recently had an interview for operative track maintenance and received an email to say I had met the benchmark but someone else scored higher so they had been offered it and if for whatever reason it doesn’t commence they would like to consider me for the role and place me on hold and they will contact me with updates shortly.

So anyway it’s been 3 weeks tomorrow and I haven’t heard anything so thought I would log in and check the status of the application it’s down as
Assessment 2 completed
But I noticed there’s another one that says application reassigned to new vacancy and it has a different IRC number does anybody know what this means?

Thanks

I had that when I got my job, they assign you to a new entrant IRC number or so that is what they told me.

As with most of these things the people to ask are recruitment team.

Best of luck though !

Yes it happened to me. I was applying for several jobs and DB Cargo placed me in talent pool for next year. Out of the blue they sent me an email offering the position but had to turn it down due to accepting another. I didn't hear anything for a couple months after the interview/assessment even after emailing several times.

Best of luck though, you might get an early nod.

If you've applied for a role where they are taking on multiple people they end up creating new IRC for each candidate at job offer stage.

This is instead of creating numerous identical job listings .
