Answering your question, probably not. XC were supposed to have installed WiFi on all their trains by 11 November 2009, but if you look here: http://railwayeye.blogspot.com/2010/08/wifi-on-arriva-crosscountry-coming-soon.html, you'll discover that XC is dragging its feet over the matter and the DfT don't want to chase them up.

I thought I'd read somewhere in the past couple of weeks that DfT has fined XC for not honouring this franchise commitment?

Just 153367 through Refurb at Canton... 153320 currently progressing
C6x works being undertaken at LNWR Crewe prior to refurb at Canton

As known starts in December at Crewe LNWR
