This is verging on the trivial but I was wonder if anyone knows why the brand new cycle store, built at great expense and taking forever to do so, at the rear entrance of Basingstoke station looks as if it was completed two months ago, but is just gathering autumn leaves and other debris? I complained to SWR about four years ago about the scarcity of secure cycle storage. This is a small attempt to right that problem, but no-one seems to give a damn, to borrow Christian Wolmar's phrase.

Note taken - I'll make sure we call the new cycle provision at Cambridge South a 'hub'. There's vast provision there, so would that make it a mega hub? Or a super hub?
I'm sure there's a missed opportunity for making some joke about hub and spoke models too...
