Looked at a map and can't quite figure out which station would be easier to use for the Bedfont Lakes area-Feltham or Ashford.

It depends what you mean by Bedfont Lakes area? If you mean the information centre on Clockhouse Lane then I'd say Ashford; but if it was somewhere near the cemetery then it is less clear cut. If coming from London then the fact that Feltham is in zone 6 and Ashford is not may be a contributory factor.

Services to Feltham are also faster and more frequent.

Ashford is the closest followed by Heathrow Airport T4 then very closely by Feltham.

Sorry I couldn't be any clearer as I haven't yet found an exact address. It's the Swisspost offices, have applied for a position with them, all I've got on the job description is "Bedfont Lakes site", can't find a specific address on their website (unless I'm not searching hard enough)!

Mostly Glasgow-ish. Mostly.

Good possibility it'll be a managed mail service for one of the large IT corps on site (so IBM, Cisco, SAP or another Bedfont Lakes tenant). There is an SP address up the A30 beyond Hatton Cross but that's a mile or two away.

I recommend Feltham station, you can catch the free Bedfont Lakes bus from there.

Thanks for that. What sort of distance are we talking between Feltham station and the site?

Assuming we are talking about the IBM/Cisco/SAP sites then about 1.6 miles. There is a TfL-operated H26 bus from Feltham High Street which takes about 15 minutes and will be free with a travelcard. Or it sounds like the businesses provide a free bus, though what you need to have (ID or otherwise) I've no idea.

Again, thanks Mike. Hopefully I'll get an interview and a specific address and then I could better explore my options for if I actually got the job. The night shift work I was doing with the agency has dried up for the time being-the client has me on an 'on call' basis so I'm not getting regular shifts, only when I'm needed-obviously I'd rather have (and need) regular work.

I would advise Feltham and then H26 bus as suggested earlier, I used to get this bus regularly when I was living in Feltham. H25 runs from Feltham station but doesn't go past the business area of Bedfont, just the residential area.

There is a free shuttle bus to SAP & the Bedfont Lakes complex from Feltham station, just outside the main entrance. No ID's needed - just hop on & off.

Just to note the Bedfont Lakes shuttle bus runs from stop C at Feltham (exit from the London-bound platforms).
