If I’m flying from Belfast to Glasgow do I get duty free on the outbound journey?

I know I get it if flying from Dublin but can’t find anything if flying from Belfast.

No duty free it's all part of the UK.

True, but the NI Brexit protocol puts a GB-NI border in the Irish Sea (or at the NI port) for some goods, which can then be freely traded across the EI border.
I'm sure HMG won't want to encourage it, but there might be a loophole somewhere, for some goods.
Protocol issues are still to be resolved, of course.

No.

Belfast International (BFS) has a duty free shop operated by Aelia, and Belfast City Airport has one operated by World Duty Free. Aelia's website for BFS has a clear explainer on its homepage explaining that you have to be flying to a destination outside the UK or EU to get duty free prices.

(The UK doesn't have particularly punitive taxes on alcohol, so most duty free shops are bad places to buy alcohol if you are comparing to the UK prices. A litre of Johnie Walker at Belfast Airport costs £21 versus £17 at Tesco.)

Depends where you’re flying to, but mostly not!

Tesco it is! Was more hoping for some other bits and bobs but I think I’ll just get them on duty free on one of my other trips and if needed I’ll get extra luggage!
