Car Parking at Leicester & East Midlands Pway

Can someone with local knowledge recommend good places for parking a car near Leicester station around 10am - noon on a weekday?

Also, how easy is it to find a space and how much is it likely to cost for parking at this time near Leicester or East Midlands Parkway stations?

East Midlands Parkway is fairly remote so maybe try and use the car park located there and looking at prices for parking maybe if possible use car parks at both stations. http://www.eastmidlandstrains.co.uk/travelling-with-us/our-network/Parking-at-the-Station/

Remember not to wash your car or open the bonnet, as that could result in a parking ticket (as per the signs at Alfteton)
