Hi, hope this is in the correct location for this question/rant!
I'm having trouble getting my free Club Avanti First Class Return ticket (reward for making 21 qualifying trips in a membership year)
Summary:
My previous Club membership year ran up to 21/12/2023
On 21/10/2023, I had marketing blurb come through by email, saying I had 17 journeys so far in the membership year.
Since then, I booked and travelled on 2 x return journeys (so 4 qualifying legs) - Warrington Bank Quay (WBQ) to Carlisle (CAR) on 02/12/2023 and WBQ to Penrith (PNR) on 10/12/2023
As far as I can tell, they would be qualifying journeys as the terms for Club Avanti say 75 miles is the lower limit. They're also within the membership year and were booked on the Avanti website under the same account my other 17 journeys were.
I emailed their Club Avanti support address and have been fobbed off time after time with "we are investigating". That's pretty much it.
It's been 2 months. Surely it's not a difficult job for them to look at my account, see the journeys and acknowledge it?
Is there anywhere I escalate this to, as I'm now getting cheesed off with their seeming unwillingness to do anything about their failure to operate their "loyalty" scheme correctly.
Thanks!
