I have progressed to the stage in my application, where I am now required to complete 4 separate online assessments, three of which will be sent to me from OPC.
The ticket selling and checking test is not being conducted online, but instead I have been sent a numeracy aptitude test. In my original email the TOC have kindly sent me a link to a company named SHL, for practice tests. (www.shl.com/shldirect/en/practice-tests) The numeracy test they list (multiple choice) is horrible. its all pie charts and bar charts referring to increased turnover and percentage losses. Comparing sales figures from one year to the next etc. I have general basic arithmetic skills, but am, by no means a mathematical whizz, I am now feeling totally lost - has anyone very recently completed this numeracy aptitude test (multiple choice) whom may be able to offer some re-assurance ?? GThe actual test I know I need to complete is a timed 12mins for 25 questions

Ive completed the numeracy aptitude test now... it was AWFUL. Did not finish it, maybe got about q.16, when i was timed out !! and the questions were just bonkers, I'm sure there must be some logic behind this particular test, because i cannot imagine conductors having do to many "spot the common factor in a series of numbers", or quick calculations on percentage increases/decreases. It really felt as though it was aimed as maths whizz kids
