Delay Repay Calculation

I’ve just renewed my multi-journey annual season ticket but the ticket printed was for any permitted route and not for London zones 1-6, while this was spotted at the time the member of staff didn’t know how to fix the problem.

A couple of days later I got this sorted out at Waterloo, the value of the ticket was correct for the journey I was making. The new ticket was a changeover ticket for 11M29D the price on the ticket looks to be calculated in proportion to the original ticket but I was wondering how the delay repay calculation is made for this odd period ticket.

I know that annual season tickets are treated as 464 journeys and monthly season tickets are treated as 40 journeys. I can’t see any way of calculating the number of journeys that makes it less than 464 journeys which means that the delay repay compensation is reduced.

Delay Repay claims should be based on the original Period of Validity (i.e. one year), even after a Changeover.

The presence of a Changeover could confuse automated systems, however, and you may find you need to appeal.
