Delayed interview outcome

Hey,

Just wanted to know if anyone could help me, I recently had an interview, I got a reply saying 'due to being on annual leave, the interview outcome will be delayed' can anyone tell me what this means and why?

One of the persons involved in the post interview analysis is on holiday delaying their feedback.

It means the person dealing with recruitment for the role is on holiday. They'll pick it up when they come back.

Obviously they're not delaying the feedback because you're on annual leave........?

It means the staff member making the decision is on Annual Leave. It's a simple as that. You should get a response upon their return.
