Hello all. Can anyone help me ? I noticed today while in Leeds station a East Midlands Train been prepared for departure. I didn't know East Midlands run trains from Leeds and I am now keen to find out which company is used in the preparation of the train before it leaves. Can anyone help ?

I think one of the EMT trains is on hire to Virgin East Coast at the moment too.
The actual EMT services from Leeds go out early morning and return late evening.

EMT look after all their HST fleet up at Neville hill and as eastwestdivide said they run services early morning down to London and then late evening back, and on a Sunday they run a few there and back
Originally they wanted a frequent service using a fleet of 9 car meridians but it never happened
You'll notice the HST fleet have NL on the side and one of them is called Neville Hill

They have maintenance staff based at Neville Hill Depot that maintain the HSTs, and Depot Drivers there too who move HSTs for EMT, Cross Country, and Virgin East Coast around the depot between fuel and inspection roads, the carriage washer, maintenance sheds, and stabling roads. They also move Virgin East Coast 225 sets around as well. They also move coaches in and out of sets with a class 08 shunt engine.

As said above the trains in service for EMT are out in the early morning and back late at night. The mainline drivers for these are based at Derby and the Train Managers and on board staff based at Sheffield.

EMT also operate North of Leeds, (but usually via Doncaster), to York and Scarborough.
