Extras to Bath Spa for Christmas markets

Seems GWR is running 21 extra trains to Bath Spa for the Christmas markets, today and next two Saturdays

There are also excursions from Victoria, Burton and Chesterfield

A train will serve Bath Spa station every seven minutes on the three Saturdays of this year’s world-famous Christmas market taking place between 23rd November and 10th December.
On top of the normal Saturday service, GWR will run an extra 21 trains stopping at Bath Spa to help shoppers get to and from the city.

Due to the lack of turbos (there are multiple short forms nearly every day), looks like 80x IETs will be working some local trains from Frome and Westbury, eg this one

The Parkway - Westbury extras are booked IETs. Much better at crowd busting than an additional 2 car 158 running about

There's a bunch of Bristol-Swindon trains which only call at Bath - I'm presuming these are extra ones too?

Too bad Faresaver haven't extended their new X31 express Chippenham-Bath service to run on weekends. There were no seats left on the 231 I was on leaving Bath.

Can’t imagine many bus operators running extra buses with fares capped at £2.

The only increase in bus service has been the Bath Park & Ride services, which are subsidised by the council.
