FIP Discount Eurotunnel

Hey guys,

looking for some help. Been searching everywhere but can't find anything about use of FIP cards on Eurotunnel. In July we're driving down to Spain so me and my partner were thinking of using Eurotunnel. I have just sent off my application for FIP card and was wondering if it works on Eurotunnel, would we get any discount and how much? Really hoping anyone could help me here.

AFAIK - FIP holders get nothing. Try looking at P&O they do deals for some railstaff

You get a decent discount on P&O as a foot passenger with a FIP. You get nothing, from know one with a car.

No FIP discount on P&O ferries but you do get 25% discount with a rail staff travel card (safeguarded or not) on car fares from Dover to Calais and Hull to Rotterdam (a bit out your way for Spain though).

You also get discount (25 -50%) on Irish Sea crossings with a car with Stenaline.

I believe you will find that there is no formal discount on Eurotunnel with FIP.

In fact most (if not all) of what you pay using FIP on Eurostar is for the Eurotunnel toll.

Most of the ferry companies will usually try and find 'some' for those with rail facilities.

safeguarded active enjoy free to I.O.M. with Steam Packet. Port tax £5.

When I travelled with Steam Packet they let me take the car for another fiver.
