Can anyone please advise if there are any restrictions on a FGW staff member buying the £6 day rover tickets from FHT for friends to travel with them? Both in terms of numbers and travel restrictions.

There would be the staff member taking 4 friends. Proposed trains are on a Friday 0722 KGX-DON and 1605 return.

Only asking here because the staff member in question (not me) is too lazy to officially find out for himself!

Thanks,
Pete

This may help you here:-

First Hull Trains
The 06:25 Hull to London Kings Cross service.
Journeys departing London Kings Cross at 18:50 on Fridays (no restriction if the customer boards after Kings Cross).

Tickets to and from Stevenage may be used on Sundays only.
The lead passenger shown on the Day Rover ticket is responsible for ensuring they do not travel at times and on services where the tickets are not valid and that the number of people travelling in their party does not exceed the maximum permitted.
If a party travels on a service on which their Day Rover ticket is not valid, they will have to pay the price of the cheapest ticket available for immediate travel for the journey they require.
This offer is only available on rail services in Standard accommodation.
Seat bookings cannot be made. Colleagues and those people travelling on Day Rover tickets must vacate their seats for full fare paying passengers who are standing.
On First Hull Trains, all passengers using this offer are required to travel in carriage E (unreserved). Colleagues are also asked not to occupy any unreserved seats until after trains have departed London King’s Cross or Hull so as to afford full fare paying passengers first choice of seats. If full fare paying passengers join in groups at any stage and wish to sit together, passengers using this offer should be prepared to move seats to allow this.
This offer is not valid for travel in Sleeper berths (or sleeper seats on ScotRail services), or on the RailAir coach link.
No other Railcard discount or promotional offers can be used in conjunction with this offer.
This offer is not valid on the London Underground, or other train operators.
Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced and no refunds will be given.
Tickets have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable. They may not be exchanged for cash.

Any infringement of these conditions and any misuse and/or abuse of the Rail and Bus Travel Offers may lead to withdrawal of the benefit and disciplinary action.

Hope that helps.
