Yes,what is there to hack? Is the train meant to be a runaway,or under the control of an external system. If it had a TMS could that be hacked?

Well, it did actually run away not too long ago.

At about 07:25 hrs on Thursday 1 August 2019, the driver of the Edinburgh portion of the Lowlander sleeper service from London Euston was unable to control the train’s speed on the approach to Edinburgh. He was unable to comply with the maximum permitted speed at Haymarket East Junction, and would have been unable to stop the train before the junction if there had been a conflicting train movement. The driver was also unable to stop the train at Edinburgh Waverley station. The train came to a stop approximately 650 metres beyond its intended stopping point at Edinburgh Waverley platform 11, after the train manager operated an emergency button in a coach.

So is the storyline that it gets diverted via a dubious bit of track in the Glasgow area so that some cranks can yellow-pen it?

That's happening in real life this week, with the Fort William sleeper being diverted via the extremely rare Coatbridge Sunnyside-Whifflet curve and Shotts due to the rock cutting strengthening works at Newbridge/Ratho. ;)

There's a click bait trailer for Nightsleeper here:

Not rail related but does anyone know what movies the Joe Cole scenes are from (up to 2:28)? That is the car chase and bridge pier explosions.

Don't bother watching after that. Nothing new despite the endless talk fest.
