I thought they done a big recruitment drive just end of the year? I could choose between Acton & Tilbury. Does anybody know which depot is more desirable?

I've received the invitation for the 4 online assessments. Put in for Merehead. Only just within the distance criteria as I live in Weston so I'm 57 minutes away.

Thank you

Any suggestions on how to prepare for online assessments? I have done SJT before and know what to expect, but not the others.
The online assessments are straight forward. The SJT is exactly what you would expect. The second test is just picking the most important and least important attributes of a driver. The third is basically a personality questionnaire, asking what things you prefer in a job, like working long hours alone, having independence or close monitoring, etc. The 4th is just standard recruitment questions, like are you over 21, can you get to work without public transport, etc.

Just got an email inviting me to do..... You guessed it, more tests. Something called an M7 SJT and a Visual Search exercise. 1 hour each it says. Made it through the shortlisting after the first 4 tests.

Good luck. I have done 4 initial tests and submitted yesterday. No reply or invitation to do more tests yet. I have the valid successful pass on the psychometrics and MMI though. Not sure if I will need to do another SJT or VSE.

yep I also received this email shortlisting, I'm nervous as I have failed a psychometric day before and this sounds like if I fail these I'm out for good?! not sure what an M7 test is, Visual search it could be an image flashes on screen for a second or two then you have to say what was on screen e.g. a pedestrian, cyclist etc, could be totally wrong though.

Regarding the M7 and VSE tests, have a scan through the Avanti vacancy threads. People in there have done them recently so you may gain some information.

I did those assessments tonight. The practice examples turned out to be of no help! Not confident I’ve passed at all :(
