I'm looking for the Glasgow Park and Ride equivalent of Newcraighall

Easy access off the M74, free or cheap to park and regular service into Glasgow, with plenty of spaces still available after peak hour.

Any suggestions?

Shields Road. Off the M74 at J1. £5 per day, £2.60 return on the subway, or about 20 mins walk to Central Station.

I've just had a look. What a god-forsaken hole it appears. The motorway nearby reminded me of what I see in Los Angeles and similar. Hell on earth.:(

Uddingston Station?

228 spaces.

The main car park is on the opposite side from the booking office, although there are a few spaces on the street beside the booking office. Not sure why it doesn't say that parking is free, (it is) but it can get a bit busy during the working week.
