Have the Jubilee platforms at Charing Cross ever been brought back to passenger use after official closure?

For example, when the new line was blocked, had Jubilee trains ever carried passengers back into Charing Cross, in the same way as before the station was closed?

Not in regular public use. I do believe there have been occassions where emergency services have met ill passengers at Charing Cross though.

I did read the escalators no longer work, in fact they had been cannibalised for spares.

No. If the line is blocked between Green Park and Stratford then the trains terminate at Green Park. The empty trains then go forward to Charing Cross to turn round.

This was particulary annoying a few years ago when Kent were playing in a one-day final at Lord's and the Jubilee line was curtailed at Green Park. Thousands of fans would have made use of an easy change at Charing Cross that day, but sadly not possible.

Wasn’t it used for a special railtour to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the line’s inception?

ISTR that an incident led to passengers being detrained there the day after it officially closed, but not since.

The area (as well as Aldwych) are used for staff and external training as well as filming on a fairly regular basis, but bringing the station back into public use would need some serious sign off.

Aldwych. Charing Cross is typically reserved for films wanting a more modern appeal.
Both Skyfall and Thor: The Dark World were shot at the formers Jubilee Line Platforms, the latter has an infamous scene where a passenger tells Thor Greenwich is three stops from Charing Cross which it clearly isn't!

Quite scandulous. We all know that Waterloo East, London Bridge, Deptford and Greenwich is a total of 4 stops, not 3! Well, if such a service was to run from CHX and not CST after all.

Re-Thor. How can a 47 access the Jubilee platforms at Charing Cross?

I seem to remember same. Something arose and it was decided the best option was to take passengers to Charing Cross. It may have happened more than once. But hasn’t happened since.
