Although this relates to a bus journey, I think it possibly might apply to tube and train, so put it here. I'd be interested in knowing if it doesn't however.

My debit card got cloned so I had to get a new one. This I did.

However I forgot to add it to my phone. No problem in a shop because it was declined.

However it wasn't declined when I used it on a TfL bus until I got a message at 2am this morning.

How do I now pay the unpaid fare?

When I go to their Web Site I see the option to request authorisation of my card before I can use it again. However I can't use the card again ever and authorisation will always be declined. I need to pay using another card. How do I do this?

I'd rather not ring them up to sort it out. Is it possible to do this without ringing them up?

How long does one get to pay this fare? It's only £1.50.

Looking online I found this:
You will get a notification for unpaid fares when you sign in to your contactless and Oyster account where you can make a payment to clear the unpaid fare.
https://tfl.gov.uk/fares-and-payments/contactless/my-card-doesn-t-work#on-this-page-3

However when I log in I get no notification about my unpaid fare. Just the need to reauthorise my card before I can use it again. I'm using my mobile.

Just give TfL a quick ring on 0343 222 1234 and they’ll sort it for you.

If you reauthorise your card, it won't be accepted because the bank have stopped it. TfL will black your card from being accepted, but that won't matter because its stopped by your bank anyway.
Doesn't the Oyster website allow you to pay the outstanding amount with another card? If not, fill in an online contact form if you don't want to ring them

They are the best call centre I have ever dealt with, so I can't imagine there would be a problem either ringing them or doing the online contact thing.

As they said I could do it online I just wanted to do that. I'll check again and if it doesn't work I'll give them a call.
