How to find ticket price for a single on McGills?

I am seriously doubting that the only fares available on McGills 757 from Glasgow Airport to Paisley are the £5.80 Greater Glasgow day tickets and there is nowhere I could find that states the Single pricing, the website only shows the period tickets.

How to find the single fares (what you would be charged when you use contactless) on McGills services (and anecdotally on CityLink 900)?

I don't believe their single fares are published anywhere. They do exist though, I've bought singles on their services before. However the only way to know how much they are is to ask the driver on the journey.

I used the journey planner in their website and it shows £4.45

The £4.45 ticket is the evening saver, not a single ticket. From what I can tell McGill’s do not publish their single ticket prices on the journey planner page either.

It's £5.50 for a single on the 757 from the Airport to Paisley, and McGills don't currently do tap-on, tap-off with Contactless like First.

Thanks, so I might just not bother with trying to cheap out and get the 500 out of Glasgow airport then (£10 is expensive though), I was more hoping for something like £2.70 I saw reported on a thread

The most up-to-date information on GoZone prices is available from our website and the McGills' app. For information on single and return fares please email [email protected].

They are indeed fully unpublished, why...

McGills are generally only significantly cheaper for singles than day tickets on either short distance local journeys outside Greater Glasgow or if you buy carnets of 10 singles on the app, otherwise you have the daft situation where a day ticket is cheaper than a single such as from Braehead.

I believe they did some major repricing of singles back in July.

Glad I know now not to bother with 757, thanks a bunch

Got a reply to my email about the single fare on 757, £3.20 for a single and £4.80 for a return. That makes the 757-Scotrail method £7.80 as compared to the £10.50 for the First 500

Interesting, because on board drivers seem to default to the £5.40 single.
