Not sure if there’s already a thread for them but just come across a video off Tik tok showing a driver refusing someone travel because she’s previously reported him to the company about his manor of driving!

As a driver myself I’ve got mixed feelings on this. The company should investigate the complaint and if it’s found to be untrue then it’s for management to deal with the complainant. It’s extremely petty to leave someone at the kerbside and drive off.

Thoughts on this?

I've noticed that Mr Howard does seem to have a rather defensive attitude when dealing with complaints from the public. He's been known to then share the details of passenger complaints on his personal Facebook

Really?
I see some of his posts on some of the trade groups and he’s extremely arrogant and seems to be very anti enthusiast - yet has a Facebook enthusiasts group on Facebook.

Would this driver have done this had it been the last bus of the night in the dark?

It’s pretty shocking!

The video comes across to me like this is the first the person is aware of any such ban, but then it has me wondering why they were already filming before the bus pulled up if that's the case. It also seems a rather odd ban if it's just that driver's bus they are being refused entry to, with the driver saying the passenger needs to board Rob's bus (one assumes another driver on the route?). It all sounds very strange and peculiar!

Agree, and she’s got a Howard’s weekly so clearly a regular!

Either way it seems very very petty.

At first glance, the video does not put the driver in a very good light, but we should bear in mind that there are two sides to every story. All we have to go on is a TikTok video with poor audio (I had to turn the volume right up to hear it). We have no details of any previous interactions between driver and passenger. If it is the case that a complaint has been made against the driver, it's inappropriate for him to act in that way (the complainant may not necessarily be the person he thinks it is).

That didn't escape my attention, either; the camera's rolling as the bus pulls up, almost as if trouble was expected.

I'm certainly not going to draw any conclusions from the contents of a short video clip.

The driver tells her ‘I’ve been told to refuse you travel as you’ve apparently complained about my manor of driving’ and that she has to travel on the other drivers bus ‘rob’ who only drives in the mornings.

I've noticed that too. It does seem rather bizarre.

I've seen people comment on Facebook groups about certain Howard's drivers being rather hostile to photographers - of course not everything on such groups can be taken as 100% correct. But there's no smoke without fire.
