hello all,

I found a nice little engine to attempt a scratchbuild of. it is a Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0 of an industrial type, inside cylinders and and valvegear.

What I would like to know is what class of engine is it and also where I would be able to obtain some drawings, or dimensions, as I need to scale it to N gauge/2mm to the foot to model it.

many thanks!

The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway has a Hudswell-Clarked 0-6-0 though how similar is it is I dont know, but you could take measurements directly.

There are four others in preservation, one at the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, one (S100, possibly also from Stanley) at the Chasewater Railway, one at Quainton Road and one thought to be at the Llangollen Railway
