Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but can interrail reservations for France be obtained on any website other than the interrail.eu one? SNCF's used to be able to do it as did SNCB/NMBS's but this option seems no longer to be there.

SNCF's was best, and its app could be used to display the ticket.

This avoided the risk of long queues/debates at the Travel Office/Ticket Windows, neither of which were much fun (although, to be fair, some of the ticket staff were very good and could issue one in the blink of an eye!)

Like you, I have used the SNCF system in the past, but seat61 suggests it isn't possible now apart from at the site you know about, which seems to email the reservation.

Hopefully someone will fill the gap soon.

community.eurail.com has the answer-as does rian v.d. borgt who posts/answers there daily and passes by here also regularly-though I understand he is now also on the rails.
CALL SNCF-and use its /en/ ext 85.
If its not for hi-summer and you tour around in FR for longer time, easiest will indeed be yourself via ticket machines.

Call SNCF:
Press #85 for English. No booking fees, reservation is sent via e-mail.
You can use Belgian railways to check availability. You can also book there but it's 4€ booking fee per order and you need a pass cover number.

Are these SNCF reservations made by phone changeable please?
They have the same conditions as those bought via other SNCF channels.
If these are the same as the conditions that Belgian railways use, then yes, they are changeable (and reimbursable) until the departure time.

Thanks rvdborgt for this link, I couldn't locate it from the b-europe site directly!
