I have a really bad feeling about this.

So do I. It won’t end well for either side. Crude oil will escalate in price and there will be deaths. I can’t see either side backing down. I am sorry but I am pessimistic about the future of the human race.

I agree with you. However, it is the same human race that has caused this situation. If a country can attack UN peacekeepers without any comeback from the rest of the world (rhetorical statements mean nothing from politicians), then an escalation is probable.

I have a really bad feeling about this.

Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis are largely proxies for Iran, so this is really part of the same conflict.
Israel had been promising this attack as a retaliation for Iran’s attack on the 1st of October. Israel seems to have restricted itself to military targets rather than going after Iran’s oil or nuclear facilities as had been suggested previously.
Whereas Iran’s attack didn’t seem to restrict itself in the same way with their missiles hitting Tel Aviv for example.

The only thing that will stop this conflict is giving Netanyahu full pardon from the charges he's expected to face. I don't think he should be allowed to escape charges, but that will almost certainly be the reason this has dragged on and escalated to the wider region beyond Gaza. The latest escalations have led to a rally in support for Likud, which increases the chance they can remain in government, so Netanyahu remains leader and away from the dock. An end to hostilities increases the chance he will have to face the charges and potential jail time.

This escalation has a mixed outcome for Putin, on the one hand a rise in oil price helps finance his Ukraine invasion, and makes a Trump Presidency more likely which he arguably needs. On the other hand Iran has been a major arms supplier for Russia, particularly drones; if Iran is getting attacked by Israel, Iran will have to divert more arms and attention this way and not towards Russia, hindering the war effort for Putin.
